Nashville SC mathematically clinched the MLS Supporters’ Shield on Saturday in Montreal, confirming the club's status as the league's most dominant side. Guided by head coach B.J. Callaghan and general manager Mike Jacobs, the team secured its second major trophy following its 2025 U.S. Open Cup title. Nashville is also pursuing the MLS single-season points record, needing five points from its remaining three regular-season games.
The roster build has been anchored by franchise star Hany Mukhtar, alongside key additions Cristian Espinoza, Max Woledzi, and Elias Saad. Elsewhere across MLS, the Philadelphia Union's 15-game unbeaten run ended with a 2-1 home loss to the New England Revolution, while Red Bull New York secured a 2-0 victory over Lionel Messi and Inter Miami.
