The Bulls are sweating on the fitness of Springbok flyhalf Handré Pollard, with several other key players also on the injury list ahead of Saturday's URC clash against the Scarlets.

The Bulls are facing significant injury concerns ahead of Saturday's United Rugby Championship match against the Scarlets. Springbok flyhalf Handré Pollard is in doubt after undergoing a scan for a hamstring complaint suffered against Ulster. Meanwhile, breakout winger Cheswill Jooste has undergone surgery for a broken cheekbone and faces a mandatory stand-down following a concussion.
Several other backs are also sidelined for coach Johan Ackermann's squad. Canan Moodie and Sango Xamlashe remain unavailable under concussion protocols, while scrumhalf Embrose Papier faces weeks out following an ankle operation. However, wing Thaakir Abrahams is nearing fitness from a hamstring problem.
