Michael Carrick has left the Man Utd training ground as talks over whether he continues as the club's head coach take place.

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has left Carrington following discussions regarding his future at the club. The 45-year-old was present for just over three hours to watch an Under-21 match before departing with his son, Jacey. Club officials, including director of football Jason Wilcox and chief executive Omar Berrada, also attended Carrington for crisis talks earlier in the day.
Carrick's position comes under scrutiny after United won just two of their opening 12 matches this season, leaving them winless in eight games following consecutive heavy defeats to Como and Bournemouth. While Carrick stated he accepts full responsibility for the results and is not expecting any particular outcome, United supporters notably directed abuse at club executives during the recent 3-0 home defeat.
