Brady Klopfer has launched the 2027 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List for McCovey Chronicles to rank the top 44 prospects in the San Francisco Giants system. The community-driven project will run across several months with posts scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Voting will occur directly within the site's comment system using recommendation votes to determine the rankings.
All rookie-eligible players in the organization qualify for consideration, excluding MLB-ready international free agents under the Jung Hoo Lee exception. A group of 13 players who graduated during the 2026 season, including former top prospect Bryce Eldridge, Carson Whisenhunt, and Blade Tidwell, are no longer eligible for the list.
