Broadcaster Naomi Schiff has raised concerns regarding Red Bull Racing's narrow operating window following a difficult United States Grand Prix for drivers Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar. Speaking on the Up To Speed podcast, Schiff warned that the car is on a "knife's edge" and is proving difficult for both drivers to handle, potentially compromising their 2026 Formula 1 championship campaigns.
At the start of the race, Hadjar suffered launch difficulties that led him to call for a clutch redesign, while Verstappen faced electrical deployment issues out of Turn 1. Schiff noted that beyond the clutch problems, the team appears to face wider issues regarding car drivability and strategy calls, leaving Red Bull in damage limitation mode.
