The United States Grand Prix was a wildly successful weekend for Ferrari, if you strictly go off the timing sheets. The newly upgraded car possessed blazing-fast race pace, tyre degradation was fully under control, and Charles Leclerc dragged his machine…

Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur stated that a flawed Q3 qualifying session and a late Virtual Safety Car denied the team a potential double podium at the United States Grand Prix. While Charles Leclerc finished in second place behind Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, Vasseur noted that qualifying issues forced the team to fight through traffic rather than contest the win directly from the front.
Vasseur also highlighted that Lewis Hamilton was rapidly closing in on Red Bull's Max Verstappen for third place late in the race. However, a late Virtual Safety Car triggered by a mechanical stoppage for Cadillac's Valtteri Bottas neutralized the battle and halted Hamilton's charge, though Vasseur expressed strong optimism regarding Ferrari's newly upgraded car pace.
