It's early in the season, but Austin Reaves is already justifying the Los Angeles Lakers betting $45 million per season on him.

Austin Reaves proved his value as Luka Doncic's co-star by sparking an 18-point comeback in the Los Angeles Lakers' win against the Utah Jazz on October 25. Reaves delivered 29 points, including 15 during a dominant second quarter that helped erase Utah's early lead. Doncic led the overall victory with a 52-point performance.
Writer Maxwell Ogden argues that the performance justified the four-year, $180 million contract extension the Lakers awarded Reaves. Through three games, Reaves is averaging 26.7 points per game for the undefeated 3-0 Lakers.
