The latest Ausar Thompson injury update brings encouraging news for the unbeaten Pistons ahead of Tuesday's matchup against the Knicks.

The Detroit Pistons have listed forward Ausar Thompson as questionable for Tuesday's road matchup against the New York Knicks. Thompson missed Detroit's 106-93 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday due to a right ankle sprain suffered against the Miami Heat. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the team is evaluating Thompson on a day-to-day basis as they prepare for the contest at Madison Square Garden.
Detroit enters the game with a 3-0 record despite battling early injury setbacks. Starting center Jalen Duren remains sidelined for at least two weeks due to a right hamstring strain. In Thompson's absence on Sunday, Daniss Jenkins started and posted 18 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, while Cade Cunningham contributed 26 points to keep head coach J.B. Bickerstaff's squad undefeated.
