Nissanka already sat out the T20Is and ODIs with a left hamstring injury…

Lahiru Udara has been called up to Sri Lanka's Test squad to replace Pathum Nissanka for their upcoming tour of Pakistan. Nissanka has been ruled out of the Test series due to a left hamstring injury, which had already sidelined him during the preceding T20I and ODI matches. Sri Lanka Cricket is targeting Nissanka's return to full fitness in time for their tour of India in December.
Udara returns to the national squad after previously being dropped following a lean series against India. The 32-year-old batter, who has scored 8,771 first-class runs at an average of 42.57, struck a maiden Test century earlier this year during Sri Lanka's tour of the West Indies.
