Scarra Ntubeni has come out of retirement amid a crisis at hooker for the Stormers, who have received mixed news on the availability of Ruhan Nel and Deon Fourie this week.

Scarra Ntubeni has come out of retirement to rejoin the Stormers as emergency hooker cover ahead of Saturday's United Rugby Championship match against Ulster. Skills coach Labeeb Levy confirmed the 35-year-old's return to training following an injury crisis at the position during their 52-40 victory over the Scarlets.
The Stormers lost hookers Deon Fourie, André-Hugo Venter, and Lukhanyo Vokozela to injuries last week, while JJ Kotzé remains suspended. Ntubeni serves as third-choice cover behind Vernon Paulo and Altus Rabe, while club captain Ruhan Nel could return from a calf injury.
