Pittsburgh Penguins center Ben Kindel returned to practice on Tuesday, two weeks after suffering a vasovagal episode on the team flight from Salt Lake City. Head coach Dan Muse immediately placed the 19-year-old on a newly formed line centering Egor Chinakhov and Evgeni Malkin.
Defenseman Sam Girard also took part in practice in a non-contact sweater, skating with Kaedan Korczak. Meanwhile, forward Elmer Soderblom missed the session and is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
