ENGLAND fans were stunned after Gary Lineker and Harry Kane claimed they had never met each other, but that wasn't quite the case. The two Three Lions legends were in attendance at the London Palladium for the 2026 Ballon d'Or…

England legends Gary Lineker and Harry Kane surprised supporters by claiming on the red carpet at the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony that they had never met in person before. Speaking to British GQ at the London Palladium, both former Tottenham strikers insisted they had only exchanged messages previously. The pair later caught up at the event, sharing a hug and chatting.
Despite their claims, the article reports that Lineker and Kane had actually appeared on stage together previously at the Sports Personality of the Year ceremonies in 2017 and 2018. Kane attended the ceremony after becoming the first English player to win the men's Ballon d'Or award since Michael Owen in 2001.
