La Liga is set to file a formal complaint with the Disciplinary Committee regarding an alleged assault on Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga during Sunday's El Clasico. The incident occurred at the Camp Nou during celebrations following Real Madrid's decisive second goal, where fans reportedly struck the French midfielder with flagpoles after videos surfaced on social media.
Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1, ending Barcelona's unbeaten start to the league campaign and reducing the gap at the top to three points. Kylian Mbappe scored both goals for Jose Mourinho's side, while Raphinha scored Barcelona's lone goal before the late-match controversy unfolded.
