Former Everton defender Seamus Coleman says he is contemplating retiring from football but does not "want to completely draw a line in the sand" on his career.

Former Everton defender Seamus Coleman has revealed he is edging toward retirement after remaining unattached since leaving the club last season. Speaking on the Overlap Fan Debate, the 38-year-old stated that while he is not ready to officially draw a line in the sand, he is increasingly content with hanging up his boots.
Coleman previously turned down a coaching offer from Everton to pursue more playing time and aimed to feature in Euro 2028. However, after missing recent Republic of Ireland squads and spending time training individually and with Gaelic side Killybegs, he expressed satisfaction with family life.
