Stoke City owner and chairman John Coates has brought total spending at the Clayton Wood training facility to £25 million following recent infrastructure investments. A newly constructed £10 million first-team pavilion opened earlier this year, allowing the previous building to undergo a £3 million renovation to exclusively serve the club's academy and women's squads.
