Emil Riis is changing the picture for Leicester City – and there’s more to come

Leicestershire Live reports that striker Emil Riis is making a significant impact at Leicester City after scoring a brace against Wigan Athletic on Tuesday. The Danish forward, who arrived from Bristol City, scored twice to put the Foxes ahead 2-0 before being substituted for Bobby De Cordova-Reid. Manager Russell Martin praised Riis as a brilliant professional and noted that his fitness and performances are expected to improve further.

The writer highlights that Riis's recent goals bring him level with the tallies reached by Jordan Ayew and Patson Daka last season. Josh Holland argues that Riis is emerging as Leicester's most reliable finisher and that his current form makes it difficult for Admir Bristric to return to the starting lineup.
