The Vegas Golden Knights have recalled goaltender Cameron Whitehead from the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights while reassigning forward Jonas Rondbjerg. The roster moves occurred ahead of Tuesday's matchup against the Ottawa Senators after starting goaltender Carter Hart suffered an apparent injury during practice.
Whitehead will serve as the primary backup to starting netminder Adin Hill for the contest. The 2022 draft pick earned his first career NHL call-up after recording a .944 save percentage across three AHL appearances, while Rondbjerg heads back to Henderson to create roster space.
