Just 18 months ago, Luis Domingos had not played Wheelchair Rugby League and now he heads to Australia with the hope of defending a world title with England.

Former professional wheelchair basketball player Luis Domingos has been selected to represent England at the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup in Australia. Domingos, who qualifies for England through residency, only took up the sport 18 months ago after leaving basketball to complete his university studies.
England enters the tournament as defending champions after claiming the title on home soil in 2022. Domingos aims to help England retain their trophy as they begin their campaign with pool matches against Wales, the United States, and Ireland.
