Rassie Erasmus has selected six uncapped players in a 37-man Springbok squad for the second leg of the Nations Championship. Uncapped players Riley Norton, Emmanuel Tshituka, Yaqeen Ahmed, Markus Muller, Sebastian de Klerk, and Luan Giliomee received call-ups for the final four Tests of the season following multiple injuries to key senior players.
Several Rugby World Cup winners will miss the tour due to injuries, including Cheslin Kolbe, Eben Etzebeth, André Esterhuizen, Handré Pollard, and Deon Fourie. Captain Siya Kolisi and Salmaan Moerat are included in the squad as South Africa prepares to face Italy on November 7, France on November 13, and Ireland on November 21.
