After games twice a week since the return from the international break, Cesar Peixoto had a rare midweek without a fixture to get his players to work on the Compton Park pitches.

Wolverhampton Wanderers returned to training at Compton Park during a rare midweek without a match, giving manager Cesar Peixoto a full week on the pitch with his squad. Wolves are preparing for an upcoming Championship fixture against Cardiff City at Molineux on Saturday, following a period of playing twice a week since the international break.
The extra preparation time has allowed players including Fer Lopez to work back to fitness after missing the recent victory against Watford. Peixoto has used the uninterrupted training sessions to focus on tactics as the team seeks to extend its current unbeaten run to four matches.
