Less than 24 hours following Kane’s award victory, local Munich restaurant owner Stefan Kastner fulfilled a mid-September promise by delivering four veal Wiener schnitzels adorned with edible gold leaf flakes and gold spray to the footballer’s villa.

Kastner, who owns Waldgasthof Buchenhain, has treated the England captain to a schnitzel for every competitive goal scored for Bayern Munich over the past two years. Kane noted that while he does not eat every delivered schnitzel himself, they are enjoyed by those around him.
