Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka says she is returning to her best form but would consider quitting the game if asked to by her three-year-old daughter.

Naomi Osaka stated she is not far off the form that earned her four Grand Slam titles, but admitted she often contemplates her future and would quit if her daughter asked her to. Speaking ahead of the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo, the 29-year-old explained that parenthood has shifted her mindset, making three-year-old Shai her top priority over tennis.
Now ranked 19th in the world, the Japanese star has enjoyed a resurgence that included reaching the Wimbledon quarter-finals and the last 16 at both Roland Garros and the US Open. Seeded seventh in Tokyo, Osaka opens her campaign against Italy's Jasmine Paolini as she looks to continue rebuilding her game.
