As much as everyone wants to see TreVeyon Henderson wreak havoc out of the backfield, it's too early to give up on the second-rounder.

Musket Fire writer Ernesto Cova argues that New England Patriots supporters should remain patient with second-year running back TreVeyon Henderson. Despite fan concerns about his lack of a major breakout and struggles with pass blocking for quarterback Drake Maye, Cova highlights that Henderson totaled over 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns in his rookie campaign.
The writer notes Henderson is currently averaging 3.9 yards per carry while sharing touches with Rhamondre Stevenson behind an injury-hit offensive line. Cova maintains that Henderson's explosive big-play potential warrants giving him more time and opportunities under offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
