The New England Patriots have emerged as an outside contender to acquire Indianapolis Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor ahead of the trade deadline. Prediction market Kalshi gave New England a 5% chance to land Taylor, following reports from NFL reporter Evan Sidery that the Patriots contacted the Colts about a potential deal that could involve TreVeyon Henderson and draft picks.
Several other teams hold higher odds, including the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, and Denver Broncos. Taylor signed a two-year, $44 million contract extension in August and stated he has not requested a trade, though Indianapolis recently traded away veterans Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner.
