The MHSC had to work hard to overcome Red Star (2-1) this Monday, during the 10th day of Ligue 2.

Montpellier secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Red Star at the Stade de la Mosson during the 10th round of Ligue 2. After a scoreless first half, Mehdi Mégnan-Pavé scored just after the restart in the 47th minute to put Montpellier ahead, but Saîf-Eddine Khaoui equalized for Red Star in the 51st minute.
The dynamic shifted when Red Star's Dylan Durivaux was sent off in the 70th minute. Taking advantage of the extra man, Montpellier clinched the win through an 88th-minute goal from Camara. The victory leaves Montpellier second in Ligue 2 with 21 points, while Red Star remains in sixth place with 17 points.
