“He’s a complete player” – Manager falling for Tottenham man on loan spell

Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has praised Tottenham Hotspur loanee Pape Matar Sarr, describing the midfielder as a complete player. The Senegal international joined the Italian club on an initial loan deal during the summer transfer window after Roberto De Zerbi revealed his desire to depart Tottenham. After recovering from an initial muscle injury, Sarr has made three appearances across all competitions and has started winning over the manager and supporters.

According to TuttoSport, Juventus signed Sarr as an alternative to Franck Kessie following evaluations of his performances in London. With midfielders Manuel Locatelli and Khephren Thuram sidelined until 2027, Sarr is expected to receive significant playing time, including a potential start against Cagliari. Sport Witness notes that sustained performances could pave the way for a permanent transfer to Turin.
