ALK Capital stated it is taking the necessary steps to address a compulsory strike-off notice issued by Companies House against Burnley Football Club's parent company, Velocity Capital (UK) Holdings. The notice was issued because the entity's financial accounts are nearly two years overdue, placing the company at risk of being dissolved.
A spokesperson for ALK Capital confirmed they are in direct contact with Companies House and working with external auditors to finalize the filings in the coming weeks. Velocity, which also owns Spanish club Espanyol, has yet to file accounts since its incorporation in March 2023.
