Ipswich Town boss Gary O’Neil says Zian Flemming and Chuba Akpom are ready to start together in the Premier League after making an impact as substitutes.
Ipswich Town manager Gary O'Neil stated that forwards Zian Flemming and Chuba Akpom are prepared to start matches if needed. O'Neil also indicated that he would consider starting two strikers together, praising the impact both players have made when brought onto the pitch as attacking substitutes.
While club-record signing Emersonn has started every Premier League match this season, £20m signing Flemming has scored twice from the bench, and Akpom has netted twice across all competitions. O'Neil explained that deploying both forwards provides a clear tactical signal to his squad to push forward.
