Lazio rout Sassuolo 6-2 to go three points clear as Inter head to Venezia

Lazio surged to the top of Serie A following an emphatic 6-2 victory over Sassuolo in Reggio Emilia, marking their fifth straight league win. Gennaro Gattuso's team capitalized on an early advantage, which expanded after Sassuolo's Kristian Thorstvedt was sent off in the 31st minute. Goals from Taylor, Gustav Isaksen, Romano Floriani Mussolini, Mattia Zaccagni, and a brace from Tijjani Noslin sealed the commanding victory for the visitors.

The result puts immediate pressure on title contenders Inter, who must defeat bottom-placed Venezia to draw level at the summit. Inter manager Cristian Chivu faces tactical challenges with heavy squad rotation planned ahead of an upcoming Milan derby, while Sassuolo coach Alberto Aquilani apologized for his side's collapse following the first-half red card.
