Caleb Okoli started and impressed in Leicester City's win over Wigan Athletic following a disappointing weekend showing against Luton Town…

Russell Martin strongly praised Caleb Okoli following Leicester City's victory over Wigan, declaring "he was really great" after the defender recovered from a previous error against Luton. Okoli had been substituted at halftime against Luton on Saturday but retained his starting spot in a back three alongside Harry Souttar and Warren O'Hora.
The 25-year-old recorded the most touches of any player against Wigan and created three chances, including playing a key role in Emil Riis' opening goal. Martin noted that he was proud of Okoli's bravery and aggression while adapting to a new tactical role.
