The New England Patriots have announced that former tight end Rob Gronkowski will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame on November 7. The public ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET at Patriot Place Plaza. Gronkowski earned the induction in his first year of eligibility after winning a fan vote in April over Logan Mankins and Adam Vinatieri.
Gronkowski becomes the 38th member of the franchise Hall of Fame and the second tight end honored after Ben Coates. Selected in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Gronkowski played nine seasons with New England, winning three Super Bowls and amassing 7,861 receiving yards alongside 79 regular season touchdowns.
