The Story in 60 Seconds

Scouts from Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Newcastle watched Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi score a hat-trick against STVV. The 22-year-old German U21 international led Brugge to a 3-2 victory at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Sunday, taking his season tally to 16 goals across all competitions.

Tottenham reportedly view signing a permanent striker as a priority in January to replace Richarlison under manager Roberto De Zerbi. However, Club Brugge are not eager to sell Tresoldi, who is contracted until 2029, and would reportedly demand a fee exceeding the Belgian record €40m (£33.5m) received for Christos Tzolis.
