Adin Hill’s clutch saves and Raphael Lavoie’s milestone first NHL goal propelled Vegas past Ottawa, overcoming a sudden goaltending injury to halt a three-game skid at home.

Goaltender Adin Hill stopped 25 shots to guide the Vegas Golden Knights to a 4-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday. Hill stepped into the starting netminder role after Carter Hart suffered an apparent lower-body injury during morning skate. The victory successfully ended a three-game losing skid for the Golden Knights.
Braeden Bowman opened the scoring for Vegas late in the second period, before Ottawa's Shane Pinto equalized early in the third. Raphael Lavoie then netted the game-winner, marking his first career NHL goal, before William Karlsson and Jack Eichel sealed the win with late empty-net goals.
