Naomi Osaka earned praise from tennis fans after revealing a custom crane-themed outfit at the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo. The blue-and-white ensemble, designed by Hana Yagi, was created to celebrate Osaka's Japanese heritage, with the crane symbolizing peace. The walk-on look accompanied her victory over Jasmine Paolini in front of her home crowd.
The tournament marked Osaka's return to the event after a four-year absence following a withdrawal in 2022. Several supporters on social media praised the creative design and labeled it a good-luck charm as Osaka advanced to face Mia Pohankova in the next round.
