Torino: Italy is falling in love with Rafik Belghali

Torino wing-back Rafik Belghali has made an impressive start in Serie A after securing a late summer move from Hellas Verona. The 24-year-old Algerian international joined Torino on a paid loan deal with an obligation to buy, replacing Marcus Pedersen. He has quickly established himself in manager Ignazio Abate's starting lineup, recording one goal and three assists in his first six league appearances.

Belghali's strong early-season form has placed him among the top creative players in Serie A, generating an average of 0.78 assists per 90 minutes. His attacking contributions and positional versatility have helped propel Torino to eighth place in the league table, drawing praise from coach Abate following recent victories against Parma and Monza.
