The Championship club have spoken out.

Wrexham have released a statement after receiving a punishment from the EFL for fielding two ineligible players this season. The club was fined £75,000, with £25,000 suspended, following an Agreed Decision concerning registration errors for Issa Kabore and Callum O'Hare. Kabore featured as a substitute against Birmingham City without his work permit properly submitted, while O'Hare was named on the bench against Millwall before his registration was finalized.
In their official statement, Wrexham confirmed they are taking appropriate measures to avoid administrative issues going forward. Reports indicate the club is actively looking to appoint a new club secretary. Phil Parkinson's side avoided a points deduction partly because they lost the match Kabore played in, and O'Hare was an unused substitute during their victory over Millwall.
