Ben Sheaf is focused on making up for lost time after returning from injury, admitting he struggles to watch from the sidelines but is determined to stay fit for the rest of the season.
Wrexham midfielder Ben Sheaf is determined to make up for lost time after returning to fitness following an injury-plagued run. The 28-year-old made a 26-minute appearance off the bench in Wrexham's 2-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers, having previously missed several matches due to repeated injury setbacks since pre-season.
Sheaf admitted that staying on the sidelines has been mentally challenging but expressed confidence in remaining fit for the remainder of the Championship campaign. Despite facing strong squad competition from fellow midfielders Matty James, Lewis O'Brien, and George Dobson, Sheaf stated he expects Wrexham to compete near the top of the table.
