Manchester United seek to end their winless run as they face Chelsea, who are set to be without Maxence Lacroix and João Pedro due to injury.

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso provided an update on defender Maxence Lacroix, who sustained a suspected hamstring injury during Wednesday's Carabao Cup match against Liverpool. The French center-back was replaced by Levi Colwill late in the first half of the fixture, which Chelsea lost on penalties. Alonso noted that it was too early to determine the full severity of the problem, but Chelsea need a couple of days to assess the issue.
Lacroix is now considered a major doubt for Chelsea's upcoming Premier League match against Manchester United. The defender had started every league match this season, and his likely absence joins other Chelsea injuries, including João Pedro, Emiliano Martínez, and Reece James.
