Against Tampa Bay in Week 15 last season, Pitts had one of the best tight-end performances in NFL history, catching 11 passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts is preparing to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium, returning to a state where he has enjoyed sustained success. Across six career NFL games in Florida, the former Florida Gators star has recorded 32 catches for 566 yards and five touchdowns, which all came against Tampa Bay over the past two seasons.
Pitts enters the matchup having caught four touchdowns over his past three games within offensive coordinator Tommy Rees' offense. Atlanta head coach Kevin Stefanski praised Pitts as a vertical red-zone threat, while Tampa Bay's defense ranks near the bottom of the league in receiving yards and touchdowns surrendered to tight ends this season.
