The Story in 60 Seconds

Tiger Woods is reportedly set to make his return to professional golf on December 27 in the opening match of the new TGL season. According to ESPN, the 15-time Major champion is expected to compete for his team, Jupiter Links Golf Club, against Los Angeles Golf Club. This appearance would mark his first professional competition following a March 2026 DUI arrest and subsequent legal proceedings in Florida.

Woods accepted a plea deal in September reducing the charge to willful, wanton reckless driving, resulting in a five-year driving ban. Former teammate Kevin Kisner stated on the Fore Play podcast that Woods plans to play a full schedule in the indoor league alongside teammates Max Homa, Tom Kim, Akshay Bhatia, and Keith Mitchell, provided he avoids physical setbacks.
