Dylan Larkin has reportedly played his last game for the Detroit Red Wings, as he won't be in the lineup tonight or until a trade occurs. The Minnesota Wild remain in the hunt to land the 30-year-old center.

Detroit Red Wings head coach Todd McLennan announced that center Dylan Larkin will sit out until a trade is completed. Larkin initially requested a trade in May, and talks between his representatives and the Red Wings escalated following discussions regarding the timeline for finalizing a move. Detroit interim general manager Shawn Horcoff is expected to address the situation alongside an official team statement.
Larkin has reportedly expanded the list of teams he would accept in a deal despite his contract's no-move clause. The Minnesota Wild remain heavily linked in trade discussions, while other potential destinations reportedly include the Florida Panthers, Vegas Golden Knights, Dallas Stars, and Colorado Avalanche.
