Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot has rejoined the main group at practice without wearing a non-contact jersey. The blueliner has been sidelined since suffering an upper-body injury on October 17 against the Philadelphia Flyers, and his return to regular practice marks a significant step forward in his recovery.
Chabot expressed optimism to reporters after participating in practice, noting that he is feeling better each day. Although the Senators are currently on a West Coast road trip, head coach Travis Green could reinsert him into the lineup once ready as the team monitors his day-to-day progress.
