Typically a tee time is just the beginning — but Nick Hardy was a winner just by getting into the field at the VidantaWorld Mexico Open.

Nick Hardy secured full vesting in the PGA Tour's retirement plan after entering the VidantaWorld Mexico Open as an alternate on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Hardy traveled as a fifth alternate and gained entry into an 8:00 a.m. tee time alongside Ben Martin and Kevin Roy following Taylor Moore's withdrawal.
The tournament marked Hardy's 15th start of his fifth season, meeting the threshold required to fully vest his Tour retirement plan. Across 140 career starts, Hardy has made 74 cuts, with each made cut estimated to add $5,000 to his retirement fund.
