The Carolina Panthers will have work to do in the second half at Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football. One task ahead of them might be to get Darren Waller involved more — or at all. The Panthers trail 20-10…

Carolina Panthers tight end Darren Waller played in Thursday's game against the Green Bay Packers but went without a catch in the first half. Carolina entered halftime trailing 20-10 at Lambeau Field while managing heavy pressure against quarterback Bryce Young. Waller received just one uncompleted target across the opening two quarters despite entering the matchup fully healthy.
According to Billy Heyen, Waller's lack of involvement stemmed from offensive struggles, limited red-zone opportunities, and the team's reliance on better-blocking tight ends to counter Green Bay's pass rush. Heyen notes that Carolina must establish favorable field position in the second half to effectively utilize Waller, alongside fellow scoreless receiver Jalen Coker.
