Seven weeks into the NFL regular season and we know these facts about the Los Angeles Rams’ offense: By design the Rams are looking for five to six yards each time they run the ball. The duo rushing scheme is…

Turf Show Times writer JB Scott argues that the Los Angeles Rams' offense is regressing due to age, lack of explosiveness, and receiver depth issues. Scott notes that the team entered the 2026 season relying heavily on 33-year-old Davante Adams and an injured Puka Nacua, without securing reliable depth behind them. Consequently, the team's deep passing game has struggled significantly through the first seven weeks of the regular season.
According to Scott, quarterback Matthew Stafford's play has sharply declined from his previous MVP-winning form, with his PFF quarterback ranking dropping to 18th in the league. Stafford has completed just 7 of 25 passes traveling at least 20 yards through the air, throwing four interceptions and one touchdown. Scott concludes that the Rams' offense may no longer be capable of carrying the team into deep postseason contention.
