Blues bidding to bounce back from successive defeats and pile on even more misery for Man United…

Chelsea have received a selection boost ahead of Saturday's Premier League home clash against Manchester United with Cole Palmer confirmed to be available. The attacking midfielder served his one-match suspension during Chelsea's EFL Cup fourth-round penalty shootout loss to Liverpool on Wednesday after receiving a red card against Tottenham Hotspur. Consequently, the Premier League confirmed Palmer will not miss any league matches.
Palmer trained on the grass at Cobham alongside Valentin Barco and Marco Palestra while other squad members completed gym recovery work. Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso stated that he spoke with Palmer regarding the dismissal, and the midfielder is expected to earn an immediate recall as Chelsea seek to end a two-match losing run.
