The Minnesota Wild are on Dylan Larkin’s approved trade list, which is half the battle in this drawn-out trade drama with the Detroit Red Wings’ center, who requested a trade out of town in the offseason but still remains there…

The Minnesota Wild have reportedly made multiple trade offers for Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin featuring multiple first-round draft picks. According to a report from The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun, the Red Wings have resisted the offers because they lack immediate NHL-ready talent, as Minnesota's packages remain largely futures-based.
While Larkin has included Minnesota on his approved trade list following an offseason trade request, talks remain in a holding pattern. Detroit wants active roster players rather than entering a full rebuild, while the contending Wild are hesitant to diminish their current NHL lineup in a permanent trade.
