The Wolves looked off color without Anthony Edwards in their loss to the Warriors. But that’s their reality for at least the next two months. Right when everyone scratched their heads over how to fix things with LaMelo Ball temporarily…

LaVar Ball criticized Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch following the team's consecutive losses while Anthony Edwards remains sidelined after knee surgery. Ball urged Finch to adopt a faster pace, increase 3-point volume, and consistently double-team Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. In a video shared online, Ball labeled critics and traditional coaches as "suckers" who fail to understand high-tempo basketball.
Shahul Hameed of EssentiallySports highlighted contradictions in Ball's critique, noting Minnesota attempted 45 three-pointers but still fell to Golden State. Curry scored 44 points, while LaMelo Ball struggled with eight points on 3-of-11 shooting alongside six turnovers. Hameed concluded that volume alone cannot compensate for poor execution as Minnesota adapts without Edwards.
