"Some of the things that I saw on the ground today certainly hurt me and I'll address that in the changing room," Sikandar Raza says after smashing a century in a losing cause…

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza criticized his team's complacency after a 19-run defeat against Afghanistan in Sharjah, which saw Zimbabwe concede the T20I series. Despite reducing Afghanistan to 5 for 4 early in the match, Zimbabwe allowed their opponents to recover and reach a total of 221 for 7. Raza stated that the lack of focus hurt him and promised to address the issue directly in the changing room.
Azmatullah Omarzai led Afghanistan's fightback with 116 runs from 50 balls, supported by Ijaz Ahmad Ahmadzai's 52. In response, Raza scored an unbeaten 106 off 56 deliveries, but Zimbabwe fell short of the 222-run target after leaving themselves too much to do in the closing overs.
