European legend believes he’s seen “the sign” with Aston Villa player – Convinced he’s a star

Goalkeeping legend Iker Casillas has heavily praised Aston Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, stating he sees the potential for the youngster to eventually succeed Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid. Speaking on his podcast Bajo Palos, the former Real Madrid and Spain international highlighted Suzuki's decision-making and shot-stopping ability as clear signs of a future world-class player.

Suzuki joined Aston Villa in a summer transfer from Parma as a replacement for Emiliano Martinez. Sport Witness suggests that with Courtois expected to extend his stay until potentially 2028, Suzuki's market value, already cited at €30m, could rise significantly as he gains Premier League and European experience.
